What Happened?
G.Skill, a major manufacturer of computer memory products popular among PC builders and gamers, was sued for allegedly falsely advertising the speeds of its DDR-4 and DDR-5 desktop memory products. The lawsuit alleged that the advertised speeds were unattainable without significant system adjustments such as manual overclocking, misleading consumers about the out-of-box performance of the products they purchased.
