American Income Life Insurance Company and Globe Life Inc. have agreed to a settlement covering the 532,578 people notified that their personal information may have been involved in a data incident on or about October 2, 2024. How Much Will I Actually Get?

Cash Payment A reimburses up to $5,000 in documented, unreimbursed losses (bank fees, credit-monitoring costs, ID replacement, and similar) incurred between October 1, 2024 and the date of notice — third-party documentation required. Cash Payment B pays $18/hour for up to 4 hours of time spent responding to the incident ($72 maximum), self-certified under oath on the claim form (receipts not required). A and B stack, for a $5,072 ceiling before any pro rata cut. Separately, two years of Cyex Financial Shield Complete credit monitoring is provided automatically to every class member who does not opt out — no claim form is needed for monitoring. If valid cash claims exceed the $3.4 million cap, cash payments are reduced pro rata.
