Nature's Path Foods USA, the organic cereal and food company, settled a class action lawsuit alleging it failed to provide non-exempt hourly employees with legally required meal breaks and rest periods under California labor law. California law requires employers to provide a 30-minute unpaid meal break for shifts over five hours and a 10-minute paid rest break for every four hours worked. Failure to provide these breaks requires the employer to pay one additional hour of pay per missed break.
The settlement covers all non-exempt hourly employees who worked at Nature's Path Foods USA locations between March 31, 2022 and March 31, 2026.
How Much Will I Actually Get?
Payments are automatic based on Nature's Path's own employment records. No claim form is required. You will receive a check in the mail if you are an eligible class member. The amount varies based on how many shifts you worked during the class period.
