Yellow Social Interactive Ltd. (YSI), which runs the sweepstakes-style social casino sites Pulsz and Pulsz Bingo, has settled Robinson v. Yellow Social Interactive, LTD., Case No. 33-CV-2025-900072.00, in the Circuit Court of Franklin County, Alabama. Players alleged that buying virtual coins in the games amounted to illegal gambling and that they could recover their losses under the gambling laws of six states. YSI denies the claims and denies that its games are gambling under any state's law. The single most important thing to understand about this settlement: the default benefit is not money. If you do nothing, you are paid 27% of your net spending in Virtual Gold Coins — game currency with no cash value that cannot be redeemed or transferred, delivered in installments over two or five years. Getting actual money requires filing an election form by November 30, 2026, and the cash rate is lower: 23%. Two further limits do a lot of work here. Both benefits run off your Net Purchase Amount — purchases minus your own prize redemptions — and a player whose redemptions matched or beat their purchases has a Net Purchase Amount of $0.00 and cannot elect cash at all. And the 25% cap in this deal applies only to the cash elections, not to the whole approximately $14 million Estimated Total Benefit; if too many people ask for money, each cash payment is cut pro rata and the difference comes back as Gold Coins. The class covers purchases made while in Alabama, Tennessee, Kentucky, Ohio, New Jersey or Massachusetts, each with its own start date, all ending August 31, 2026. The final approval hearing is set for December 31, 2026 before Judge Brian P. Hamilton in Russellville, Alabama. Elections, opt-outs and objections all share the November 30, 2026 deadline.

Do I Qualify?

You may be eligible if:

No receipts, no spending records, nothing to document — but there is an ID gate on the cash route, and two different forms with two different requirements. Gold Coins require nothing. There is no form to file and nothing to submit. YSI calculates your Net Purchase Amount from its own transaction data and credits the coins to your account. The online election form requires a Settlement Claim ID. That ID is printed on the notice the administrator sent you. Without it, the online route does not open. The paper election form has no Claim ID field. If no notice reached you, this is your path. It asks for your name, mailing address, email address and phone number; the Customer ID for each Pulsz and Pulsz Bingo account you purchased on, which you can find under "My Account" after logging in; every email address associated with those accounts; a signature affirming under penalty of perjury that those names, Customer IDs and emails belong to you; and a payment method. Paper forms can be requested through the official settlement website and must be postmarked by November 30, 2026. Every cash election goes through YSI's identity verification. This is the step worth planning around. If you have not already completed YSI's user-verification process you will have to supply whatever it requires, and a player who fails verification is paid in Gold Coins instead of cash. A filed election is not a guaranteed payment; it is a guaranteed benefit, in one currency or the other. Incomplete but timely forms get a grace period. The administrator may allow up to 28 days after the deadline to supply missing information on an election form that arrived on time. Elections are screened for fraud. The administrator cross-references approved elections against the Class List and may deny forms where there is evidence of abuse or fraud.

File your claim through the official settlement website at ysisettlement.com before November 30, 2026.

What Happened?

Since 2022, players filed lawsuits and arbitrations arguing that buying virtual coins in Pulsz and Pulsz Bingo was illegal gambling, and that under the gambling laws of Alabama, Tennessee, Kentucky, Ohio, New Jersey and Massachusetts they could recover what they lost. The parties signed a settlement agreement in December 2025, the Circuit Court of Franklin County, Alabama granted preliminary approval, and the administrator's site is now accepting elections. YSI denies all of the claims, denies that its games are gambling under any state's law, and says it settled to avoid the cost and uncertainty of further litigation. The court has not decided who would have won.

WHAT PLAYERS IN ALABAMA, NEW JERSEY AND TENNESSEE ARE ACTUALLY GETTING. YSI has already stopped offering Pulsz in those three states and treats those accounts as dormant. A dormant account owed Gold Coins is reopened with a zero balance for the sole purpose of playing the awarded coins, for at least 60 days. It cannot buy coins, cannot receive Sweeps Coins and cannot enter sweepstakes games, and an account left inactive for 60 days or more can be closed with any coins still sitting in it. Earlier balances, loyalty status and unpaid redemption requests are not restored. Players who closed their own accounts through self-exclusion can receive only the cash benefit. In practical terms the Gold Coin option is worth least to exactly the players in the three states where the games no longer operate.

WHAT YOU GIVE UP BY STAYING IN. The release binds you whether or not you file an election. Class members release their claims against YSI over the Pulsz games, including claims that would otherwise go to arbitration, and stipulate that — while the game changes required by the settlement stay in place — virtual coins in Pulsz and Pulsz Bingo are gameplay enhancements rather than a thing of value under the six states' gambling laws. Opting out by November 30, 2026 is the only way to keep those claims, and an opt-out receives neither coins nor cash. YSI also agreed to maintain a responsible-gaming page, a self-exclusion policy and a way to keep playing the free Gold Coin games without buying more.

NOT THE SAME AS THE OTHER SOCIAL CASINO CASES. The Settlement Agreement states that this release has no effect on the separate cases against Apple, Google, Facebook and Amazon over social casino-style games; those companies are not parties here. It is also a different matter from the High 5 Games social casino settlement, which is Washington-only, involves a different company, and pays cash.

STILL AHEAD. Class Counsel must file its fee request by November 16, 2026. Judge Brian P. Hamilton holds the final approval hearing on December 31, 2026 in Russellville, Alabama. If the settlement is approved and any appeals are resolved, approved cash elections are to be paid within 60 days of the effective date. As of October 4, 2026 there is no final approval order and no payment date.

How to File Your Claim

  1. FIRST DECIDE WHICH BENEFIT YOU WANT, BECAUSE DOING NOTHING IS A CHOICE. If you take no action you are still in the settlement, you still release your claims, and you will be paid in Virtual Gold Coins inside your Pulsz or Pulsz Bingo account — not money. If you want money you must act by November 30, 2026. There is no claim form to fill out for the Gold Coins
  2. TO GET CASH, FILE AN ELECTION FORM AT THE OFFICIAL SITE. Start at www.ysisettlement.com, the administrator's site (Eisner Advisory Group LLC), and use its "Submit an Election" link. The online election form opens with the Settlement Claim ID printed on the notice YSI sent you, so dig out that email or mailing before you start
  3. NO NOTICE OR NO CLAIM ID? USE THE PAPER FORM. The paper election form has no Claim ID field at all. It asks for your name, mailing address, email address and phone number
  4. the Customer ID for every Pulsz and Pulsz Bingo account you made purchases on (found under "My Account" after you log in)
  5. every email address tied to those accounts
  6. a signature affirming under penalty of perjury that those names, Customer IDs and emails are yours
  7. and your payment method. Request the paper form through the official settlement website
  8. PICK A PAYMENT METHOD: check, Zelle, PayPal or Venmo
  9. EXPECT AN IDENTITY CHECK, AND KNOW WHAT FAILING IT COSTS. Every cash election is subject to YSI's user-verification process. A player who has not already verified must supply what that process asks for, and a player who fails verification is paid in Gold Coins instead of money — the election does not simply go unpaid, it converts
  10. ONLINE BY 11:59:59 P.M. CST ON NOVEMBER 30, 2026, OR POSTMARKED BY THAT DATE. If a timely election form arrives incomplete, the administrator may give you up to 28 days after the deadline to supply what is missing — but that grace period only exists if you filed something on time
  11. FILING IS FREE. SuitAlert never collects your claim information and never asks for an SSN. Everything goes through the administrator's own site
  12. Visit the official claim form: https://www.ysisettlement.com/

How Much Will I Actually Get?

TWO BENEFITS, AND YOU CHOOSE BETWEEN THEM — BUT ONLY ONE OF THEM IS MONEY. Both are calculated from your Net Purchase Amount: what you spent on Pulsz or Pulsz Bingo in an eligible state during that state's class period, minus your own successful prize redemptions on the same site. DO NOTHING AND YOU GET GAME CURRENCY, NOT CASH: 27% of your Net Purchase Amount, credited as Virtual Gold Coins at 10,000 Gold Coins per US dollar. This is the headline most searches will land on and it is the one worth reading twice. Gold Coins have no cash value and cannot be redeemed or transferred; they buy more play in the free-to-play games and nothing else. The court-approved notice says they arrive in installments over two or five years depending on the amount. FILE AN ELECTION AND YOU GET MONEY, AT A LOWER RATE: 23% of your Net Purchase Amount, paid by check, Zelle, PayPal or Venmo. You are trading four percentage points for the difference between spendable money and in-game credit. THE 25% CAP APPLIES ONLY TO THE CASH SIDE — NOT TO THE SETTLEMENT AS A WHOLE. All cash elections together cannot exceed 25% of the Estimated Total Benefit, which the Settlement Agreement puts at approximately $14 million. If elections come in over that cap, every cash payment is reduced proportionally and the shortfall is handed back to you in Gold Coins. So the cash figure is the one number here that can shrink because of how many other people made the same choice; the Gold Coin benefit carries no comparable aggregate cap. BOTH FIGURES ARE PRE-DEDUCTION. Each is reduced by your share of the attorneys' fee award, administration costs and incentive awards. Class Counsel has agreed to seek no more than 30% of the settlement amount plus expenses, and each of the six named plaintiffs may ask for up to $10,000. The court has not set any of those amounts yet, so the percentages above are ceilings, not deposits. AN ILLUSTRATION FROM THE AGREEMENT ITSELF: a $100 Net Purchase Amount — say $300 bought and $200 redeemed — produces about $23 in cash, or about $27 worth of Gold Coins (270,000 coins), before those deductions. WHAT HAPPENS TO THE REST: money left in the fund after all payments is returned to YSI. Checks expire 90 days after they are issued, and an uncashed check or a failed electronic payment is converted into Gold Coins.

Frequently Asked Questions

If I do nothing, do I get money from the Pulsz settlement?
No. This is the single most misread fact about this settlement. If you do nothing you remain a class member, you release your claims, and you are paid 27% of your Net Purchase Amount in Virtual Gold Coins credited to your Pulsz or Pulsz Bingo account at 10,000 Gold Coins per dollar. The Settlement Agreement describes those coins as non-redeemable and non-transferable with no cash value — they buy more play in the free-to-play games and nothing else. The court-approved notice says they arrive in installments over two or five years depending on the amount. If you want actual money you have to file an election form by November 30, 2026, and the cash rate is 23% rather than 27%.
Why is the cash rate (23%) lower than the Gold Coin rate (27%)?
That is simply how the deal is structured: 27% of your Net Purchase Amount in game currency if you do nothing, or 23% in money if you affirmatively elect it. You are giving up four percentage points in exchange for a benefit you can actually spend outside the game. On a $100 Net Purchase Amount that is roughly $27 worth of Gold Coins (270,000 coins) versus about $23 in cash, before deductions. Both figures are reduced by your share of attorneys' fees, administration costs and incentive awards, which the court has not yet set.
I spent thousands on Pulsz. Why might my payout be zero?
Because the settlement pays on Net Purchase Amount, not on what you spent. Net Purchase Amount is your purchases minus your own successful prize redemptions on the same site. Section 1.22 of the Settlement Agreement gives the example directly: someone who bought $300 and redeemed $200 has a Net Purchase Amount of $100. It also states that a player whose redemptions equal or exceed purchases has a Net Purchase Amount of $0.00 and is not eligible to submit an Election Form — only players above zero are treated as having an alleged loss. A heavy player who also cashed out regularly can land at or near zero despite large gross spending.
Does the 25% cap limit the whole $14 million settlement?
No, and the distinction matters. The cap applies only to the cash side. All cash elections together cannot exceed 25% of the Estimated Total Benefit, which the Settlement Agreement puts at approximately $14 million. If elections exceed that cap, each cash payment is reduced proportionally and the reduction is paid out in Gold Coins instead. The Gold Coin benefit itself carries no comparable aggregate cap. So the amount of real money you receive can be cut purely because of how many other class members also asked for money — a risk the coin option does not carry. Money left in the fund after all payments is returned to YSI.
Which states are covered, and what if I moved?
Six states, each with its own start date, all ending August 31, 2026: Alabama from March 8, 2022; Tennessee from November 12, 2022; Kentucky from June 29, 2023; and Ohio, New Jersey and Massachusetts from February 19, 2024. Your state is determined from YSI's own records for the purchases — billing address and IP address information — not from where you live now. Moving into one of the six states after your purchases does not make you eligible, and moving away does not remove you from the class. Purchases made from any other state are not covered.
What happens to Pulsz players in Alabama, New Jersey and Tennessee?
YSI has already withdrawn Pulsz from those three states, so those accounts are treated as dormant. A dormant account entitled to Gold Coins is reopened with a zero balance for the sole purpose of playing the awarded coins, for at least 60 days. It cannot purchase coins, cannot receive Sweeps Coins and cannot enter sweepstakes games, and an account inactive for 60 days or more can be closed with any remaining coins in it. Earlier balances, loyalty status and unpaid redemption requests are not restored. Players in those states can elect cash instead, and players who closed their own accounts through self-exclusion can receive only the cash benefit.
Can I file a cash election without the Settlement Claim ID?
Yes, by paper. The online election form opens only with the Settlement Claim ID printed on the notice you were sent. The paper election form has no Claim ID field; it asks for your name and contact details, the Customer ID for each Pulsz and Pulsz Bingo account you purchased on (under "My Account" once logged in), every email address tied to those accounts, a signature under penalty of perjury, and a payment method. Request the paper form through www.ysisettlement.com and have it postmarked by November 30, 2026.
Could I file for cash and still end up with Gold Coins?
Yes, in three separate ways, and this is worth knowing before you count on the money. First, if total cash elections exceed the 25% aggregate cap, your cash payment is reduced pro rata and the shortfall is paid in Gold Coins. Second, every cash election is subject to YSI's user-verification process, and a player who does not complete or fails that identity verification receives Gold Coins instead of cash. Third, checks expire 90 days after issuance, and an uncashed check or a failed electronic payment is converted into Gold Coins.
Is this the same as the High 5 Games social casino settlement?
No. Different company, different state, different benefit. The High 5 Games settlement covers Washington purchasers of High 5 Casino and High 5 Vegas coins and pays cash from a $12 million to $30 million fund. This settlement is against Yellow Social Interactive Ltd. over Pulsz and Pulsz Bingo, covers six other states, and pays game currency by default. The Settlement Agreement here also states that its release has no effect on the separate social casino cases against Apple, Google, Facebook and Amazon, which are not parties to this deal.
What are the deadlines and when would payment arrive?
November 30, 2026 is the deadline to elect cash, to opt out, and to object — all three share the same date. Online elections must be submitted by 11:59:59 p.m. CST that day; paper forms must be postmarked by it. Class Counsel must file its fee request by November 16, 2026, and Judge Brian P. Hamilton holds the final approval hearing on December 31, 2026 in Russellville, Alabama. If the settlement is approved and any appeals are resolved, approved cash elections are to be paid within 60 days of the effective date. As of October 4, 2026 no final approval order and no payment date had been announced.
