A targeted cyberattack on Aspire Health Alliance's computer systems occurred in September 2023, potentially accessing files containing private personal and medical information. South Shore Mental Health Center, Inc. d/b/a Aspire Health Alliance is a Massachusetts behavioral health provider based in Braintree. More than 17,000 individuals were notified that their information may have been compromised.

How Much Will I Actually Get?
The $400,000 settlement fund provides three benefit tiers: (1) Cash Payment A — up to $2,500 for documented, unreimbursed out-of-pocket losses (claim form + documentation required by September 16, 2026); (2) Cash Payment B — pro-rata cash from remaining fund, AUTOMATIC with no claim form if you do not opt out; (3) Medical Data Monitoring — one year of CyEx Medical Shield with $1M medical identity theft insurance, also AUTOMATIC with no claim form. Documented-loss claims require proof of expenses such as identity theft losses, credit freeze/unfreeze costs, and postage contacting financial institutions.
