International Flavors & Fragrances (IFF) has agreed to pay $11 million to settle an antitrust class action over alleged price-fixing in the fragrance ingredients market. Once the claims portal opens, businesses and consumers who purchased affected fragrance products may be entitled to cash compensation.

Based on court filings, eligibility is expected to include:
- Businesses or consumers who purchased fragrance products containing IFF ingredients during the class period
- Purchases must fall within the dates and product categories defined in the settlement notice

What Happened?
International Flavors & Fragrances, one of the world's largest producers of fragrance and flavor compounds, was sued in an antitrust class action alleging price-fixing and anti-competitive coordination in the fragrance ingredients market. Antitrust litigation in the fragrance and flavor industry has targeted major suppliers accused of colluding to inflate prices paid by consumer product manufacturers.
IFF agreed to pay $11 million to settle the class action while denying wrongdoing. The settlement administrator has not yet launched an official claims portal โ SuitAlert is monitoring for updates.
