What Happened?

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I take the $75 flat payment and also claim documented losses?
No — they're alternatives. Choose either the $75 no-proof payment, or the documented losses/lost-time route (up to $4,600 combined). Credit monitoring is separate and comes with either choice.
Is there a total settlement fund that could reduce my payout?
No aggregate fund is stated in the settlement documents. Furniture Mart, USA has agreed to pay for the benefits directly, and attorneys' fees ($285,000) and service awards ($2,500 each) are paid separately by the company rather than from a shared pool — so on the currently published documents, individual payments aren't described as subject to a pro rata cut.
What if I don't have the LoginID and PIN from my notice?
Online filing requires those credentials, but a paper Claim Form is available that doesn't require the Login ID, and anyone missing their credentials can contact the settlement administrator, Simpluris, through the official settlement site to request them.
When is the deadline, and does a mailed claim need to be postmarked or received by then?
Claims are due November 3, 2026. The settlement's own FAQ and Claim Form disagree on whether a mailed claim needs to be postmarked or received by that date — the safer reading is "received," so file online or mail well ahead of the deadline.

New settlements, once a week. Deadlines only — no filler.
