Pandora Washington Job Postings Settlement
Only WA applicants to Pandora, 2023-25, qualify. The Pandora Washington Job Postings Settlement resolves Spencer v. Pandora Ventures, LLC, et al., No. 25-2-10248-3 SEA, pending in King County Superior Court, which claims Pandora's Washington job postings did not disclose the wage scale or salary range and a general description of benefits, as required by Washington's pay transparency law, RCW 49.58.110. Pandora denies any wrongdoing. There is no claim form and no proof to submit - payment is automatic from Pandora's own hiring records for the roughly 995 people in the class, and December 14, 2026 is not a claim deadline. It is only the deadline to opt out, to object, or to switch from a mailed check to a digital payment; doing nothing still gets you paid if the settlement is approved.
Do I Qualify?
You may be eligible if:
- You applied for a job opening in Washington with Pandora Ventures, LLC; Pandora Jewelry, LLC; Pandora Franchising, LLC; or Pandora Ecomm, LLC between January 1, 2023 and July 26, 2025
- The specific posting you responded to allegedly did not disclose the wage scale or salary range and a general description of benefits - postings that already disclosed pay and benefits do not qualify, even if you applied in the right window
- Pandora's own application records, not self-identification, determine who is in the roughly 995-person class; if you believe you should be included but received no notice, Pandora's records control unless you can show documentary evidence otherwise
- You do not need to do anything to be paid - you only need to act if you want to exclude yourself, object, or switch to a digital payment, all by December 14, 2026
There is no claim form, no receipt, and nothing to document. Payment is automatic for everyone on Pandora's class list who does not exclude themselves - Pandora's own hiring and application records establish who applied, when, and to which posting, so there is no proof for you to submit about your application. The only thing you may need to do is confirm your mailing address with Simpluris, since the administrator cannot mail a payment without one on file.
What Happened?
Applicant Shannon Spencer sued Pandora Ventures, LLC; Pandora Jewelry, LLC; Pandora Franchising, LLC; and Pandora Ecomm, LLC in King County Superior Court on April 1, 2025, claiming the companies' Washington job postings did not disclose the wage scale or salary range and a general description of benefits and other compensation, as required by the pay transparency provision of the Washington Equal Pay and Opportunities Act, RCW 49.58.110
The parties signed a settlement agreement in May and June 2026, and King County Superior Court Judge Taki Flevaris granted preliminary approval on August 20, 2026. Pandora disputes the claims and says it has not violated any law
The Final Approval Hearing is set for January 22, 2027 at 9:00 a.m. before Judge Flevaris at the Maleng Regional Justice Center in Kent, Washington; no settlement benefits or payments will be provided unless the Court approves the settlement and it becomes final
How to File Your Claim
- NO ACTION NEEDED - there is no claim form, and Pandora's own application records identify the roughly 995 class members
- Simpluris mails a payment automatically to everyone who does not exclude themselves, if the Court grants final approval
- DECEMBER 14, 2026 IS NOT A CLAIM DEADLINE - it is the deadline to opt out, to object, and to switch from a mailed check to a digital payment. Miss it and you are still paid by check
- DO THIS INSTEAD - confirm Simpluris has your current mailing address. The official FAQ warns that without a valid address on file, the administrator may not be able to send your check. Update it online using the Login ID and PIN printed on your notice, submit the Address Form that came with the notice, or contact the administrator directly
- OPTIONAL - digital payment - use the Address Update/Payment Selection page at epoasettlementpvl.com by December 14, 2026 to get a digital payment rather than a mailed check. This changes how you are paid, not how much
- APPLIED TO MORE THAN ONE QUALIFYING POSTING - you are paid for each one separately, so your estimate is higher than a single share
- TO EXCLUDE YOURSELF - mail a written request to the Settlement Administrator, postmarked no later than December 14, 2026, with your full name, address, a statement that you want to be excluded from the settlement in Spencer v. Pandora Ventures, LLC, et al., and your signature. This cannot be done by phone or email, and each person must send their own request
- TO OBJECT - file a written objection with King County Superior Court and mail copies to Class Counsel and Pandora's counsel, postmarked no later than December 14, 2026
- Final approval hearing - January 22, 2027 at 9:00 a.m. before Judge Taki Flevaris at the Maleng Regional Justice Center in Kent, Washington, with a remote Zoom option listed on the settlement website. The date can change by court order

How Much Will I Actually Get?
EACH QUALIFYING CLASS MEMBER GETS AN EQUAL SHARE OF THE NET CLASS FUND FOR EVERY SEPARATE JOB POSTING THEY APPLIED TO, SO APPLYING MORE THAN ONCE PAYS MORE. One notice reviewed by Open Class Actions listed an estimate of $3,290.04, well above a simple one-posting share, because that applicant applied to multiple qualifying postings. THE $1,990,000 FUND IS GROSS, NOT WHAT REACHES THE CLASS. From that fund, Class Counsel will ask the Court for $663,333.33 in attorneys' fees, costs and expenses (about one-third), plus a $25,000 service award for the named plaintiff; Simpluris's administration costs are capped separately at $35,000. If the Court approves those amounts, at least about $1.27 million would be left to split among the class - the figure driving each person's actual share, not the $1,990,000 headline. PANDORA PAYS UP TO $50,000 FOR NOTICE SEPARATELY, ON TOP OF THE $1,990,000 FUND - that cost does not reduce the amount available to the class. THE $35,000 CAP COVERS ONLY SIMPLURIS'S ADMINISTRATION COSTS - it is not a cap on the settlement or on the fees and service award, which are requested as separate, larger amounts from the same fund. THE FUND CAN STILL GROW: if the class grows beyond 1,045 people before final approval, Pandora adds $2,000 to the fund for every additional class member. Payments are characterized as non-wage damages and reported on a 1099. Checks and digital payments expire and become void 180 days after issuance. No payment date has been set - payment follows the January 22, 2027 final approval hearing, and only if the Court approves the settlement and no appeal is filed.
