Sprouts Farmers Market was sued for violating the Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act (FACTA) by printing more than the last five digits of customers' credit and debit card numbers on electronically printed receipts. Federal law specifically prohibits this practice to protect consumers from credit card fraud and identity theft.
Similar FACTA violations have resulted in major settlements at Trader Joe's and other retailers. Sprouts agreed to pay $5 million to settle the class action brought by affected customers who shopped at Sprouts locations during the qualifying period.
How Much Will I Actually Get?

You will need either your original Sprouts receipt from the qualifying period showing the last five digits of your card, or a credit or debit card statement showing a Sprouts transaction. EBT card users may also qualify. Deadline is July 27, 2026.
