GeoLogics is a technical staffing and professional services company placing engineers, scientists, and technical professionals on government and defense contracts. In December 2023, GeoLogics suffered a data breach compromising employee and contractor personal information including names, Social Security numbers, financial information, and potentially security clearance-related data.
As a government contractor staffing firm, GeoLogics holds particularly sensitive employee records — including background and financial information gathered for security clearance vetting. A class action alleged the company failed to protect this sensitive data. GeoLogics agreed to settle without admitting wrongdoing.
