An unauthorized party gained access to LA Financial Federal Credit Union systems on or about June 10, 2024, potentially exposing names, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, driver's license numbers, passport numbers, state ID numbers, account and payment card numbers, routing numbers, health insurance information, taxpayer ID numbers, and biometric data.

The $725,000 settlement allows class members to choose documented losses up to $5,000 or a no-documentation pro rata payment, plus two years of credit monitoring.

How Much Will I Actually Get?
Up to $5,000 for documented out-of-pocket losses including credit reports, monitoring and fraud-resolution costs, and unreimbursed fraud losses, OR a no-proof pro rata cash payment estimated at $50 or more. California subclass members can add $100 to either option with a sworn residency attestation. All class members may also claim two years of free credit monitoring from the $725,000 settlement fund after attorneys' fees, costs, and service awards.
Documented losses may receive higher compensation.
