Legends Hospitality Data Breach Settlement
Legends Hospitality LLC has agreed to an $812,900 settlement in Julianne Cook, et al. v. Legends Hospitality, LLC (Index No. 106468/2025) over November 2024–January 2025 targeted cyberattacks. Eligible class members may claim up to $5,000 documented losses or a ~$200 alternate cash payment with no proof, plus three years of CyEx credit monitoring. Deadline: August 19, 2026.

- You are a living U.S. resident whose information was potentially impacted in the November 2024, December 2024, or January 2025 Legends Hospitality Data Incidents
- You received a notice from Legends about those incidents
- You submit a valid claim choosing either documented losses or the alternate cash payment by August 19, 2026
- You may also elect three years of CyEx Financial Shield Total credit monitoring
Choose one cash path: Cash Payment A (documented losses up to $5,000) requires receipts, bank statements, or similar proof — personal certifications alone are insufficient. Targeted cyberattacks on Legends Hospitality computer systems in November 2024, December 2024, and January 2025 accessed files containing Private Information such as names, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, government ID numbers, financial information, medical information, and health insurance information.
The lawsuit is Julianne Cook, et al. v. Legends Hospitality, LLC, Index No. 106468/2025, pending in the Superior Court for New York County, New York. Class Representatives include Julianne Cook, Domonique Barlow, and Katherine Heldreth.

How Much Will I Actually Get?
Legends Hospitality will establish an $812,900 Settlement Fund. Class members may claim Credit Monitoring and choose one of two cash options: (1) Cash Payment A – Documented Losses — up to $5,000 for actual, documented out-of-pocket losses incurred between November 9, 2024 and August 19, 2026 (identity theft/fraud losses, credit report/monitoring/freeze fees, ID replacement, postage), with receipts or similar proof; expenses already reimbursed by a third party are not eligible; OR (2) Cash Payment B – Alternate Cash — a one-time flat cash payment estimated at about $200 (may be higher or lower based on valid claims) with no documentation required. You may claim only one cash option. All Settlement Class Members are also eligible for three years of CyEx Financial Shield Total with $1 million in financial fraud insurance regardless of which cash tier they choose.
